Title: Internal Communications Lead
Location: New York, New York or Washington, D.C.*
An Internal Communications professional is needed at our client, a global law firm consistently ranked among the top firms in the world. This person will operate as a key component of the Brand & Communications Department, supporting the implementation of engaging internal communications and campaigns.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their goals and needs while providing communications support
Provide strategic and tactical support for a variety of efforts, which could include recruiting-related messaging, firm-wide announcements, DE&I and change initiatives, developing leadership messaging and talking points, etc.
Develop familiarity with relevant subject areas in order to advance the goals of internal stakeholders, including HR functions
Measure and report on the effectiveness of campaigns, including proactively seeking engagement data
Explore trends within internal communications, multimedia, and technology to make recommendations for new initiatives
The Internal Communications specialist should have:
Some previous internal comms experience, ideally working closely with HR.
Excellent writing skills with the ability to simplify complex information and effectively target varying audiences.
The confidence to provide specific recommendations to stakeholders.
Analytical skills to evaluate communications initiatives.
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
7+ years of experience working with diverse employee groups, writing/editing, and developing internal campaigns.
