The Role – Account Manager - Public Affairs

We’re looking for an Account Manager to join the team working across Public Affairs. Priority areas are infrastructure, FMCG, retail, tech, energy or financial services sectors.

 

Responsibilities of the Account Manager will include:

  • Act as the day-to-day contact for clients to ensure smooth running. Drive internal processes (logistics and admin) to track delivery against public affairs plans
  • Take leadership and drive accounts forward
  • Lead on first drafts of documents for clients and adapt writing style for different audiences accordingly, e.g.politicians, civil servants etc.
  • Provide advice and insight to clients
  • Coach and mentor juniors and provide constructive feedback on their work
  • Conduct parliamentary and policy monitoring and analysis
  • Monitor client news and identify opportunities for clients to engage with stakeholders
  • Own stakeholder relationships. Coordinate and review engagement plans, review policy and stakeholder briefing notes drafted by junior team members
  • Actively participate in new business pitches. Oversee research for pitches and review findings to shape theanswer. Contribute to the document creation process
  • Attend external networking events/webinars directly relevant to clients and attend them in person or virtually. Build an external network
