We are looking for a senior lead for the consumer team of one of London’s most exciting specialist independent PR agencies. The agency specialises in destinations – everything from changing perception of city centre regeneration to driving footfall to shopping and leisure destinations. The work is extremely interesting, culturally-relevant and the kind of subject matter that people like to hear about. In one day your conversations are likely to include arts and culture, retail, leisure, entertainment, food and beverage, and health and wellbeing.
We are looking for someone who is currently operating at Associate Director level to step up into a Head of Consumer PR, and to take responsibility for directing the agency’s creative consumer team. The position will be on the senior management team, and as such will have some responsibility for new business development, so an appetite for new business will be part of the successful candidate’s DNA. There will also be line management responsibilities.
What we are looking for:
- At least one year at Senior Account Director level or above
- Track record of successfully managing PR process from start to finish, across lifestyle and consumer media, including development of strategy and creative ideas to implementation and press outreach
- Strong track record of delivering new business
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Experience of delivering and / or overseeing influencer campaigns
- Excellent knowledge of key social trends
- Strong project management skills
- Budgeting experience
- Highly organised and able to prioritise effectively
- Ability to lead, make difficult decisions, be assertive when required
- Excellent presentation skills
