Despite this climate proving tough for so many, there are undoubtedly winners who are seeing a boost in success. Infrastructure and property development is a sector that continues to thrive, providing the economic and social foundations for the UK’s success.
To this end, one of the leading communications agencies in this space is looking to hire at either Associate Director or Director level.
At this level in this agency, you are given an incredible amount of responsibility and autonomy to build and grow out your own client portfolio so this would be the ideal role for someone feeling held back by hierarchy/a top heavy leadership team and wanting to spread their wings.
This communications agency is absolutely flying with record growth and 4 new hires during the pandemic. How, you may ask? They operate across property/the built environment and planning in the main, also touching the infrastructure sector.
They work with some of the most respected and well-known developers, local authorities and housing associations with over 90 live clients and projects – having brought in business hand over first since launch! The talented team has a unique blend of skills, providing a wealth of experience in political decision making, planning policy, community engagement, urban design, regeneration, social and economic development and visual communications.
Size wise, the agency is approximately 30 and growing quickly but organically. The culture is one of ambitious, entrepreneurial drive, with Directors all responsible for building and growing their own portfolio. It’s a highly respected, talented team who all genuinely get on and they hire heavily on cultural fit. Flexible working is supported with the team meeting up for “walking meetings” to keep collaboration and face time.
The Role: Associate Director/Director
Due to their continued growth and the success of the sector, the agency is looking to hire an Associate Director or Director to continue its trail blazing success. The team is well stocked with “do-ers” to support and deliver the high quality campaign work, so there’s no danger of you winning the work without a great team behind you. It’s all about seizing the day/current climate; and focusing on growth for this business that is fast becoming a leader in its sector!
Whilst planning/property/infrastructure is the natural fit for this agency sector wise, if you have more of a corporate/consumer property leaning but want to build your own division then my client is happy to look at this.
For the Associate Director role, your time will be split approximately 50% on working/servicing a client portfolio and 50% on new business and building up your own portfolio.
For the Director role, you’ll be 100% focused on building and bringing your own client portfolio rather than taking on work the agency already has, so confidence in new business and a great network is a must.
An agency track record is essential.
