Our client is a game changer in shaping the world through technological innovation, developing leading next-gen tech from data centres to smart phones, autonomous cars to space probes.  We are looking for a communications manager who will take responsibility for the delivery and execution of global technology communications for the business.  You will be currently AM or SAM level in an agency or a Comms Mgr level in house with 4+ years experience under your belt, a solid understanding of the UK and global tech landscape and a passion for media and content creation.

This role will include developing and maintaining relationships with core technology media and analysts; developing messages and delivering them through social media and written materials; driving joint opportunities with partners and customers; cultivating and educating ambassadors for the group; and supporting day-to-day social media and that positively position the company's technologies.

Additionally, you will be able to:

  • Engage with trade and national tech media to secure compelling coverage

  • Write compelling pitches, opinion articles and comment for the media

  • Build rapport with industry analysts and ensuring inclusion in relevant reports

  • Work with external PR agencies to ensure they thrive

  • Work with others in the wider team to deliver compelling campaigns that resonate with our customers and industry influencers

  • Monitor industry press and have a hunger for learning about the wider industry landscape

  • Track and report on media coverage delivering the key messages to a technical audience, especially through digital channels.


  • Have at least 5 years’ experience within tech PR, either agency or in-house

  • Have a passion for media relations and pitching

  • Are a go-getter, ready to inject your love for tech into your projects

  • Have excel in verbal and written communication skills

  • Are a team player and have the ability to multitask

  • Are ambitious, self-motivated and driven
