Are you passionate about technology? Do you have have strong social and digital chops in PR/Comms?  Then, this opportunity might interest you!  The client is a tech communications consultancy seeking a Director of Social Media Marketing - a newly created role! 

 This person will oversee accounts across the agency from a social and digital standpoint, providing both strategical and tactical support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Educate staff and clients as needed

  • Partner with internal teams to develop the most effective content

  • Contribute to and attend new business pitches 

  • Work on long term strategic planning for clients

  • Oversee social media monitoring and measurement 


Ideal Candidate:

  • 5-10 years of related of relevant experience either in agency or at tech companies

  • Experience with paid social programing (Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and all others as relevant)

  • Understanding of the SEO impact  (knowledge of SEMrush preferred)

  • Strong understanding of digital media KPIs 

  • Should be able to speak to Performance (Growth) marketing (ABM) initiatives, Media planning, Paid Search (Google & Bing), Affiliate, Email / CRM, Google Analytics, and Display Advertising
