What we’re looking for:
This is a new role in the growing Events Team within this larger Communications Agency.  We are looking for a Senior Events Manager / Events Account Director with 4 years’ experience who is looking for a permanent or contract (c 3 months) to permanent opportunity.
Key requirements for this position are:
Events agency experience (essential)
Proven production experience in terms of practical event delivery
Demonstration of understanding of and experience in corporate events
Confidence in theming an event according to client objectives
A creative, curious and tenacious mind
An ability to focus and prioritise content and flow of the event
An understanding of event content and experience of leading and delivering compelling content in a corporate event space
Emotional and social intelligence in order to build relationships with colleagues, clients and suppliers
A team player who can lead whilst contributing at all levels
A sense of compliance when adhering to set working policies
Practical experience required:
  • Demonstrable and practical experience of delivering:
    • Event execution - from onsite support through to catering management
    • Leadership - from leading operational events budgets to managing juniors
    • Client communication - managing and delivering on client expectations and face to face client relationship development
    • Supplier management - with suppliers from photographers to video producers
    • Administration - overseeing logistics and preparation of planning documentation
  • Multi-project management to tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and processes
  • Existing network of events and supplier contacts
