Hands-on financial communications specialist for a leading listed organisation in the region · Deep expertise in listed-company reporting, investor communications, and financial storytelling · Close working relationship with an External Communications Manager in a highly collaborative, symbiotic function · Direct counsel to CEO and CFO on financial messaging and media readiness

We are seeking a Manager, Financial Communications to join one of the region's leading listed energy groups at a significant point in its growth and market profile.

This is a practitioner's role, not a strategic advisory position. The ideal candidate is a genuine financial communications specialist — someone who has spent their career in and around listed environments, understands the rhythms of earnings cycles, knows how to translate complex financial data into compelling narratives, and is equally comfortable briefing a CEO before a media interview as they are drafting an annual report section at 11pm.

The role sits within a broader communications function and works in close, day-to-day partnership with the External Communications Manager — a genuinely collaborative relationship where both functions are stronger for the other's expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead the development and delivery of financial communications strategies aligned to regulatory requirements, investor expectations, and broader business objectives

· Own the preparation of earnings releases, financial announcements, annual reports, and sustainability reporting content

· Develop and manage financial messaging frameworks for use across roadshows, analyst briefings, investor days, and media engagements

· Prepare and counsel senior leadership — including the CEO and CFO — ahead of media interviews, press conferences, and investor-facing engagements

· Liaise closely with the Investor Relations function on share price communication, market sentiment, and investor messaging

· Manage the timely and accurate publication of financial information across all relevant channels, including the corporate website

· Work in partnership with the External Communications Manager on media strategy and financial coverage

· Ensure full compliance with listing rules and relevant disclosure regulations

· Monitor the regulatory landscape for changes to financial reporting and communications requirements

· Contribute to issues management and reputational risk planning in relation to financial matters

You should have:

· A minimum of 10 years' experience in financial communications, with significant time spent in or around publicly listed environments

· Experience in the UAE or broader Gulf region is highly desirable — familiarity with ADX or DFM listing rules and the regional investor landscape will be a genuine advantage

· Strong candidates from other listed environments are equally encouraged to apply — particularly those with backgrounds in extractive industries or resources sectors in Australia, upstream oil and gas in the United States, or other heavily regulated, capital markets-facing industries globally

· Proven experience producing annual reports, sustainability reports, earnings releases, and investor-facing communications

· A track record of advising and preparing C-suite executives for financial media and analyst engagements

· Deep understanding of financial reporting, market disclosure obligations, and investor relations dynamics

· Experience working closely with IR, Legal, Finance, and Communications functions

· Strong written and verbal communications skills — able to simplify complexity without losing accuracy

· Exposure to IPO communications and/or major capital markets events highly regarded

Personal Attributes:

· A genuine practitioner — comfortable rolling up their sleeves and getting into the detail · Calm and credible in high-pressure reporting periods and under CEO/CFO scrutiny · Rigorous attention to accuracy and compliance without losing sight of the narrative · Strong collaborator who builds trust quickly across finance, legal, and communications teams · Confident briefing senior executives one-to-one, including in-person and on the road · Commercially aware with a strong instinct for what markets and media care about

This is a unique opportunity to:

· Play a central role in the financial communications function of one of the region's most significant listed energy groups · Work in genuine day-to-day partnership with an experienced external communications team · Build and own the financial storytelling discipline for an organisation with a high-profile domestic and international investor base · Operate at the intersection of capital markets, reputation, and executive communications in one of the world's most dynamic energy markets
