Our in-house client, an organization centered around the advancement and advocacy of a specific financial asset, is looking for a Head of US Communications to develop, lead and execute intergrated communications plans for the region.

Head of US Communications Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute PR and communications plans with a focus on North America, in collaboration with global and regional teams.
  • Drive engagement with stakeholders, media, and investors through integrated communications strategies.
  • Collaborate with global marketing to ensure alignment of campaigns with the North American audience.
  • Identify media opportunities and create compelling content to reach target audiences.
  • Develop and edit media materials, including press releases and briefing documents.
  • Partner with research and marketing teams to launch initiatives through various channels.
  • Amplify ESG projects and build brand credibility through storytelling.
  • Enhance executive visibility through CEO profiles and executive communications.
  • Manage US press office and secure coverage in Tier 1 media outlets.
  • Cultivate and maintain media relationships within the financial and business sectors.

Head of US Communications Requirements:

  • 10-15 years of PR/communications experience in corporate financial services, ideally with some experience in capital markets.
  • Mix of agency and in-house experience preferred but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Expertise in developing integrated communications strategies for financial audiences.
  • Strong national Tier 1 media contacts in financial and business sectors - this role requires hands-on media relations.
  • Comfortable being the sole US-based member of the Communications Team and working with a small, global team.
  • Deep understanding of financial markets and industry trends.
  • Experience working with senior leadership.
  • Proficiency in data analytics for measuring campaign impact.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Hybrid role based in NYC, requiring 3 days in-office. No relocation or travel expenses provided.

Total Compensation Range: $250,000 - $300,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
