We are looking for an established Global Health Communications Leader to join one of the most exciting Top 20 agencies in a senior role that also sits on the SLT.

About you:

You will have worked at a senior level in an established healthcare communications agency, or at a Director / VP level within a pharmaceutical company. You will have led recognisable and/or award-winning health communications campaigns on behalf of the pharmaceutical / life sciences industry and patient organisations.

You will have a proven track record of product communications, medicine launches, life cycle management communications, disease awareness campaigns, designed to achieve traditional and social media traction and engagement.

You will have strong experience in business development, new business conversion and lead generation. You will not only be successful in competitive pitches, but also adept at growing business organically.

You will be a natural leader, with proven leadership experience as this role will require extensive leadership and mentoring of a large team of ambitious professionals who will be looking to you for guidance and counsel.  Presence in the London office will be key to your success in this role.

The role

The role is to lead and establish the Health team as a credible partner to health companies in global communications programmes, including product, cause and corporate communications.

The remit will be to build a network of partners globally to deliver hub and spoke campaigns. Part of this network building role might be to look for acquisition targets in key markets to build an owned network as well as an affiliated one, so an inherent global awareness and appetite will be an advantage in this respect.

The agency has a mature, collaborative and open way of working.  As such, your responsibility in this role would be to work with your co-lead to build a business plan, to attract and win new Global clients in the comms space, including a marketing programme to support with prospecting.

As a member of the senior leadership team, in this role you would be consistently supporting the delivery of the overall business plan whilst supporting team growth and development.


This is a senior leadership role and the salary will reflect that, being a very generous remuneration based on experience.
