This large, famous agency is looking for an established Associate (or Senior Associate) Director to join their Public Affairs team. This is a newly generated role, due to some robust new business wins secured during the pandemic period and the successful candidate will be working on these new accounts as well as some of the most fascinating, high profile, and confidential projects in the agency, and indeed in the wider communications industry.
We are looking for someone with:
A deep understanding of public affairs in the UK
Recent experience of UK agency working and an understanding of the commercials
An excellent track record of winning new business
Someone with strong client management skills, who can proactively anticipate client needs and respond swiftly to their demands
A strategic thinker who can not just going to help decipher or influence policy but also provide top class strategic advice informed by political risk analysis
Flexibility and hunger as will be working on clients across all sectors in the agency
Your responsibilities in this role:
Grow the income and profile of public affairs
Be a trusted advisor to clients, add value to client relationships, providing high level strategic counsel
Act as a representative for the division in relevant specialist forums or network groups and participate where appropriate in relevant speaker platforms
Provide leadership to public affairs consultants across the business
Oversee and support the growth and development of junior team members
Responsible for budget monitoring, revenue forecasting and planning, overseeing client budgets and fee negotiation to ensure correct level of profitability
High energy multi-tasker, quick and diligent with strong writing capability and good attention to detail
