This is a unique opportunity to join one of the most successful health teams in the PR industry at Senior Director level, and would appeal to someone who is currently operating at Director, Senior Director or MD level and who enjoys the consultancy and global campaign planning elements of their senior role as opposed to the operational side. The focus will be Global Health Communications and Public Relations, and you would be a key senior figure in this much loved Top 20 agency, both within the health team and within the wider agency, so a collaborative and influential nature are key to success here.

You

You will have worked at a senior level in an established healthcare communications agency, or at a Director / VP level within a pharmaceutical company. You will have led recognisable and/or award-winning health communications campaigns on behalf of the pharmaceutical / life sciences industry and patient organisations.

You will have a proven track record of product communications, medicine launches, life cycle management communications, disease awareness campaigns, designed to achieve traditional and social media traction and engagement.

You will have strong experience in business development, new business conversion and lead generation. You will not only be successful in competitive pitches, but also a natural networker and influencer, adept at growing business organically.

You will be wanting the next step in your career, to apply your experience to a new, fresh and exciting challenge, which brings autonomy, growth and the chance to build a new sub-practice, under the umbrella of one of the UK’s leading communications agencies.

The role

The role is to build the Health team's reputation as a credible partner to health companies in global communications programmes, including product, cause and corporate communications.

As a UK headquartered agency, the role will be to build a network of partners globally to deliver hub and spoke campaigns, including forging relationships with an NYC-based sister agency. Part of this network building role might be to look for acquisition targets in key markets to build an owned network as well as an affiliated one.

Naturally collaborative, you would be working with the existing leadership team – especially advocacy and global policy leads – to identify synergies and potential for organic cross-sell.

Working with the practice lead, you would build and execute a business plan to attract and win new Global clients in the comms space, including a marketing programme to support with prospecting.

As an established senior player, you will naturally join as a proactive member of the senior leadership team, supporting the delivery of the overall agency business plan, supporting team growth and development throughout.
