About the Role
As the new Senior PR Manager for the UK, you’ll lead our clients media presence and public relations in the biggest key market. Reporting to the Global Consumer PR Lead, you’ll manage the UK press office and oversee our clients reputation, brand positioning, product communication, and values.
You’ll work closely with Corporate and Consumer PR teams across Berlin, Amsterdam, and Paris, managing a UK-based PR freelancer. We’re looking for someone who’s skilled in consumer campaigns, adept at issue management, and has a keen eye for compelling stories.
Responsibilities
Strategy & Thought Leadership
- Develop and execute an annual PR plan for the UK, including messaging, Q&As, OKRs, and campaign roadmaps.
- Plan and implement high-impact PR campaigns in the UK market.
- Localise global projects and cross-channel campaigns for the UK audience.
- Collaborate with Corporate PR to support thought leadership and speaking opportunities for C-suite and executives.
- Track and report KPIs and PR OKRs.
Press Office & Public Relations
- Cultivate and expand a network of UK media contacts and advocates.
- Coordinate daily activities of UK PR freelancer.
- Manage high-volume press office operations, handling inquiries, partner communications, and internal requests.
- Monitor media coverage and news agenda.
About You
- Native or fluent English speaker.
- Extensive experience managing high-volume press offices, PR campaigns, and events in the UK (agency or in-house).
- Established UK media network, particularly with mainstream, consumer, and lifestyle press.
- Proven track record of successful PR campaigns, especially in sustainability, second-hand fashion, tech, or consumer issues.
- Skilled in crisis communications and navigating challenging situations.
- Highly organised, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Solution-oriented team player with experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
