SEO & Digital Communications Specialist

We are seeking an SEO & Digital Communications Specialist to join a unique, high-stakes practice. This senior, client-facing role sits alongside executive teams, providing strategic digital support on matters where search visibility, ranking dynamics, and timing are critical.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and execute advanced SEO strategies to influence search rankings, influence SERP outcomes, and strengthen online visibility for high-profile clients
· Design and implement technical and content-led approaches to suppress negative or outdated search results and elevate authoritative content
· Act as a trusted advisor in client meetings and pitches, translating complex SEO and digital concepts into clear, commercially grounded advice
· Coordinate with external PR, communications, and media teams to ensure search visibility, content placement, and authority-building align with broader communications strategies
· Monitor search performance, indexing, and digital sentiment, identifying risks and deploying proactive mitigation strategies
· Guide the creation of search-optimised, media-ready content, securing high-authority placements across news, trade, and industry publications

You should have:

· 4+ years of experience in SEO, with strong technical capability (on-page, off-page, and technical optimisation) in high-visibility or competitive environments
· Demonstrated success in influencing search rankings and managing complex SERP landscapes (e.g. suppression strategies, authority building, content ranking)
· Strong understanding of indexing, crawling, site authority, backlink strategy, and how these impact real-world search outcomes
· Experience working alongside PR, content, or digital teams to align SEO with broader communications objectives
· Confident, client-facing presentation skills, able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to senior, non-technical stakeholders
· Strong writing skills for both search-optimised and media-ready content
· High emotional intelligence, discretion, and sound judgment in sensitive situations
· Bonus: familiarity with crisis communications, legal, or regulated environments
