Base: $75,000–$85,000
The Role
Our strategic communications agency client is hiring a Strategic Communications Analyst to support senior advisors on high-stakes, reputation-critical situations for clients in financial services and complex corporate environments.
This role is designed for someone currently at — or recently from — a strategic communications or financial advisory firm, who wants deeper exposure to live situations, senior clients, and judgment-driven work early in their career.
What You’ll Do
- Support communications strategy for litigation, activist, crisis, and transaction-related matters
- Draft and refine media statements, Q&As, talking points, and internal briefs used by senior executives
- Track fast-moving media and issues; flag risk and emerging narratives in real time
- Conduct targeted research to inform positioning, messaging, and response strategy
- Work closely with senior team members in a lean, high-expectation environment
- Support pitches and proposals with clear, concise analysis
Who This Role Is For
- 1–3 years of experience at an agency focused on strategic, financial, or corporate communications
- Exposure to financial services, litigation, shareholder activism, crisis/issues, or M&A
- Strong writer who can translate complexity into clear, defensible messaging
- Calm under pressure; comfortable operating with ambiguity and tight timelines
- Interested in pursuing a career in advisory work, not brand, lifestyle, or consumer PR
- Clear progression for high performers as responsibility and client exposure increase

- Los Angeles–based; hybrid schedule required
