Our client, a leading global energy business, is seeking an experienced Vice President – Communications & Corporate Affairs to join their Abu Dhabi team. This is a senior strategic role reporting directly to the C-Suite, offering the opportunity to influence business strategy, manage high-profile stakeholder engagement, and lead a high-performing communications function.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and advise on corporate, financial, and investor communications across the organisation
· Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on external communications, public affairs, and reputation management
· Develop and execute integrated communications campaigns that align with business and ESG priorities
· Oversee internal communications, media relations, and crisis communications initiatives
· Manage, mentor, and inspire a high-performing communications team
· Act as a key liaison with government, industry associations, and other external stakeholders
You should have:
· Extensive experience in corporate communications, financial communications, or investor relations at a senior level
· Strong understanding of capital markets, corporate affairs, or energy sector communications
· Proven ability to lead and develop teams, manage complex projects, and consult at executive levels
· Experience in high-profile, multi-market environments, ideally across the Gulf region
· Recognised qualifications in communications, journalism, business, or related disciplines
· Strong relationship-building, influencing, and problem-solving skills
· Strategic mindset, with a hands-on approach to execution
