Vice President - Strategic Communications

Corporate Communications Pro’s, we have a juicy role for you! New York or Chicago is where we’d love you to reside! The client operates on a flex schedule 3 days a week in the office (T-Th) in both locations.

Let’s talk about what you’ll be up to:

• You'll be the go-to guru for all things corporate and strategic communications, supporting an eclectic mix of clients, from hedge funds to high-profile individuals and everything in between.
• Get ready to flex those creative muscles! You'll lead the charge in developing killer corporate positioning, media strategies, and reputation management programs.
• You'll oversee the creation of press releases, presentations, scripts, and Q&A materials for all kinds of exciting announcements and special situations.
• As the primary point of contact, you'll be the superhero, ensuring our clients and advisors are happy. Managing relationships and keeping that client satisfaction meter sky-high will be your jam.
• Time to shine as a mentor! You'll guide and cheer on our junior team members, offering wisdom and feedback as they tackle their assignments.
• You'll be schmoozing with the best of them, cultivating and nurturing relationships with top-tier journalists and media outlets. Pitching stories and handling media inquiries will be second nature to you.
• Got a knack for business development? Awesome! You'll lend a hand in supporting our initiatives and helping our team grow and thrive.

NNow, let's talk about the skills and qualifications that will make you the star candidate:

• Ideally, you've got 5-8 years of experience in media relations, investor relations, or corporate communications. The more, the merrier!
• A background in corporate communications, financial services, legal, or asset management-related communications would be super handy.
• Strong organizational skills and an eagle eye for detail are essential. Bonus points if you can juggle multiple projects like a pro!
• Words are your thing! You've got excellent written and verbal communication skills that can charm the socks off anyone.
• If you've already developed killer relationships with top-tier global newspapers and trade press, we want to hear about them!
