Amazing opportunity for a Head of Group Communications to join a super collegiate in-house team based in London. Working across Oil, Commodities and financial derivatives, we are looking for someone who has familiarity with Private and Capital Markets Internationally.

In recent years our client has acquired several industrial commodity producing companies. This is both a dynamic and evolving company, as they seek to acquire further businesses opportunities in the UK and overseas. In support of this, they are seeking a Head of Group Communications to maintain and develop both internal and external communications.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

· Support the Chairman and senior leadership in managing all aspects of communication with the group’s internal and external stakeholders, including maintaining content on its internal and external platforms.

 

· Manage the communications organisation, including small teams located at our German and Danish refineries, with the aim of ensuring consistent, targeted, and engaging messaging both internally and externally.

 

· Enhance the company's visibility and credibility in the investment community by developing and executing a proactive investor relations communications strategy, aligned with the company's overall objectives and growth trajectory.
 

· Act as communications champion and build strong internal and external relationships at all levels, engaging with media outlets to manage the group’s reputation and address any inquiries.

 

· Support the local communications teams in emergency or crisis management situations, and act as the link between the refineries and the Chairman/senior leadership, in relation to any communications activities.

 

· Responsible for developing and managing all aspects of the groups branding.

· A proven track record of having communicated and influenced at all levels in an organisation

· Strong commercial acumen and financial understanding

· Open and trustworthy

· A Self-starter and team player

· Skilled writer and talented wordsmith

· Highly organised with strong attention to detail

· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

· Experience gained in the oil refining industry
